Bloomfield Hills Baptist Church’s Men’s Ministry takes seriously the charge of Colossians 1:28, that says ‘We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ NASB).’
As we work toward the goal of presenting ‘every man complete in Christ’, we aim to Go Deeper in several areas.
DEEPER IN STUDY OF THE BIBLE & PRAYER
Thursday’s at 6:30 – 8:00 pm – Men’s ministry meets every Thursday alongside the Family Night at BHBC by starting with food and fellowship and then diving deep into the Heidelberg Catechism together with Dr. Donald McKay. Afterwards, we separate into smaller groups for discussion, prayer, and accountability.
Friday’s at 7:00 – 8:00 am – The Men’s ministry meets every Friday at a local restaurant for a prayer breakfast and fellowship.
Saturday’s at 9:30 – 10:30 am– Each Saturday morning, men form Bloomfield gather at the church for an in-depth bible study that includes prayer, accountability, a discussion and challenge from the Word of God. Men are challenged – and they challenge one another – to obey God, by following Jesus closely through walking by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16).
DEEPER IN SERVICE
The Men’s Ministry at Bloomfield is involved in work projects in the church, in the surrounding community of Bloomfield Hills, and in other cities throughout the metro Detroit area.
DEEPER IN FAMILIES
Bloomfield’s Men’s Ministry understand’s that men are called by God to lead their families, and therefore we are very intentional about helping men grow deeper in their families. We provide practical help, Bible study and weekly support groups to help men of all ages to be be responsible leaders in their families.
DEEPER IN RELATIONSHIPS
Men develop meaningful relationships with one another, expressing the love of Christ for one another in action. Men are encouraged to ‘not neglect meeting together, as is the habit of some’ (Hebrews 10:24) but instead to be involved in each other’s lives in a meaningful way.
